Thanks for the Comments

Thanks to those who have taken the trouble to comment. Whilst these reports are an indulgence for the benefit of my own memory, it's good to know they are appreciated by others.

The most recent batch of comments has been picked up here on the summit of Sron Smeur, a lovely viewpoint with glassy Loch Ericht in one direction and the Blackwater Reservoir in the other. Beautifully clear air, and the tops are slowly clearing. It's wonderful.

There are no other Challengers here!

Now there's a surprise...

Gibson - hope you can get out soon.

Paul - she is a little b****r isn't she!

Gayle - hope you made it through any red flags to Cape Wrath - that trip went quickly!

Any Challengers reading this: "Hello, I know you're out there somewhere!"

Hi Martin
Just catching up with your adventures after a long weekend away (compensation!), happened across Alan, Phil and a few other Challengers at Tomdoun on Sunday evening, it was lovely to meet people in the flesh. Even if some were luminous green... Maybe someday we'll happen across you, Sue and a few others! Your trip so far looks fantastic, hope you're having a great time and good luck. Looking forward to your updates.

The trip did indeed go quickly - helped by us occasionally forgetting to stop walking at what should have been the end of a day.

A bonus of getting six days ahead of schedule was that we hit the Cape Wrath Range during one of its closed periods, so no issues of red flags.

Thanks Louise, thanks Gayle. As you may notice from the date of this comment, the 'housekeeping' for this year's TGOC is a little behind schedule.
