I'm sure we walked Monte Pasubio, and another summit by the name of Becca di Filadonna.

Great area, and little known being sort of pre-Dolomites proper, but very interesting with good walking as I recall.Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16576395337502021082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-670908392024479748.post-75114745824992967572012-07-05T12:03:19.517+01:002012-07-05T12:03:19.517+01:00Brilliant! You are definitely in walk...Ciao Martin & Sue!

You are definitely in walker´s heaven.

There´s a fantastic not so well known long distance route which follows the former Italian-Austrian frontline. It´s called Via della Pace or Friedensweg (Peace Walk) and runs for 500 km between the Swiss and the Slowenian border. It crosses/passes the Ortler and Adamello Alps, Lago di Garda, the Dolomites and the Carnic Alps.

Maybe another challenge for you & Sue :) ?

Happy walking

MarkusAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
