Brocken Spectre or Glory
There's debate as to which this is ...
... On the Nantlle Ridge this morning.
Very nice (and I agree with the comment above -- it's just a small shadow due to the geometry of the sun/terrain/observer, which also means a bisected glory rather than a [nearly] complete circle).
Since I can see the coloured rings (glory) and what looks like the, admittedly small, shadow of the photographer (brocken spectre), I'd say it's both!
