Where am I Today?
I’ve swapped the snow of Ottawa for the sleet and bitter NE breeze closer to home. But where exactly am I today?
I'm not at all familiar with your neck of the woods but it seems that you're around half way between Warrington and Altrincham, on the Trans Pennine Trail.
After looking at the photo and guessing at the Trans Pennine (without ever having seen those posts) I went to "Comments" and found Gayle had beaten me to it. It would be ironic if we are both wrong.
Well, I'm surprised that AlanR didn't get in first, but you are correct. It's at the far end of a bike ride I do for a bit of exercise - along the canal towpath then down the TPT to Lymm and back. It's outside the Lymm Ranger Centre cabin at SJ678876. Well done.
