It's a 400 mile drive from Skye to Timperley, so plenty of time to fit in Skinadin parkrun, near Broadford on Skye.
Midge nets were used at the start, then 73 runners set off at 9:30.
It was a lovely route as regards scenery.
Then we headed off on the slower but more scenic route home via Fort William.
We got stuck behind a dodgy vehicle at Tyndrum. Thankfully it wasn't in emptying mode.
Back at home in Timperley by 8pm, Sunday morning resumed our usual routine with Sue going bellringing and me going to the Sunday morning 5km community run at Wythenshawe. Weary legs but a respectable time of 30:35.
