A Timperley Heron
An easy drive home, to tropical heat in Timperley. This morning’s trip down the Bridgewater Canal revealed herons at two mile intervals, all intent on breakfasting and not in the least bothered by people on the towpath.
What a wonderful picture of one of my favourite birds...

ReplyDeleteI can identify most common birdsongs Martin, but I struggle to remember some of the migratory ones I haven't heard for a while.
