The Dragons Running Club provided a host of pacers from 21 to 40 minutes. Thanks, and well done.
Some of us, including Rufus the dog, were allowed into the tearoom building. With colder weather approaching this is a welcome development, although there is no kitchen due to a condemned roof, and drinks and snacks have to be purchased from two mobile vans in the courtyard, open only at weekends.
Isabella's cupcakes went down well, with Dan and Amanda arriving just in time to get the last two out of the tin.
Full results are here, and our little clique that is pictured above finished as follows over the softish ground.
Jan - 21:43, position 19
Sue - 24:43, position 67

Sunday 20/10 - Wythenshawe Community Run in full waterproofs and a very slow time for me of over 37 minutes. 93 took part. No photos.
Monday 21/10 - Wabash Jazzmen at Eagley Jazz Club. Another lovely evening of jazz at the well attended venue. No photos this time (they can be found elsewhere). Tonight's line-up:
Jon Critchley - trumpet
Mike Hayler - clarinet and tenor sax
Richard Slater - trombone
Richard Vernon - double bass
Mark Challinor - banjo, guitar and ukulele/Band leader

I hoping for a photo of Rufus. Perhaps next time?
There are lots of pictures of Rufus on my blog, Conrad. Just search 'Rufus'. There's one of him on a run here, for example:
