No soon had we arrived back home was it bed time for Bear and Teddy who had suffered a very tiring journey from Didsbury.
The fine weather and autumn colours made the walk to Walton Park via the Bridgewater Canal a no-brainer.
Walton Perk provided coffees to keep us going. We must buy their cake as well, sometime.
'Ball' wanted a ride in the pushchair, which Isabella refused point blank to use herself, insisting on being carried by Sue.
Nice autumn colours today.
With a bit of help, Izzie managed to negotiate the tricky route to the mini slide.
Since our last visit, the memorial plaque and information board for the Walton Park air crash on 3 August 1943 have been unveiled.

Then Isabella instructed us to return via the tram from Brooklands to Timperley, where we failed to disembark, so we went to Navigation Road and took the tram back to Timperley. She loved that.
The cheeky Canada Geese thought we had food for them.
Back at home, it was time for a mainly (albeit unintended) fruit based lunch, shared with teddy.
After a nap, it was time to play 'trains'....
... and we all gorged on freshly baked bread.
Thanks, Isabella, for being such a pleasure to be with, as usual.

"..insisting on being carried by Sue." Is she being a little spoiled? No! That is what grandparents are for.
