Monday = Isabella Day (39)

There was no time for tram riding today!

Antz in your Pantz provided the morning venue - two hours of energetic play for Isabella. The video below is probably only of interest to family, who can see more photos and videos through their Dropbox link. She loves the trampoline; we'll soon need to explore some proper tuition.

After all that bouncing, the train and other things were a bit boring, especially as we had no coins to make the lights, etc, work... The big blue slide was great fun though (no photo).

Roadworks in the 'under threes' section.

"I think I'll be an engineer when I grow up"

Back at the coffee shop, Ted donned his wellies for the walk home.

Lunch concluded with a plate of apple.

"I like apple - preferably Apple Crumble"

"I'm not sure about that! Was spreading mustard on the apple a good idea?"

More bouncing - our bed has a bouncy mattress - that was after Isabella's nap, then the Teds and Leopard needed to have their own nap.

Some ducks and dolls needed a bath. Since the bidet was out of action, today's flood was destined for the kitchen rather than the bathroom. Dolly has a very weak bladder!

Toys then came out, and as I mopped up in the kitchen I could hear the telephone box in the living room ringing with food orders from Isabella.

"What would you like today, Isabella?"
"Chocolate cake."
"One piece or two?"
"Two."

Dream on, Isabella!

Then it was time to go home, the stand off in the car before she was willing to enter her special seat lasting about ten minutes. I don't think she realises that we quite enjoy this brief period of calm.

Once installed, there's a tradition of checking toes (she can count up to nine) and removal of unwanted fluff.

Thanks go to Sue for providing a number of today's pictures.
