Where were we on 6 November 2004?
OK, clever clogs (Gayle and Conrad), the name of the mountain (seven letters) is what I’m looking for, but you can name the place where we were camping if you like.
It was very quick and easy to find that you were on the Annapurna circuit in November 2004, but I can't find a start date on your report, and there are a few hills marked on your map which have 7 letters. Based on the arrows on your map, and it being early in November, I'm going to take a wild guess at Tilicho Peak (hmmm, is that seven letters or eleven? Perhaps I should have plumped for Kagbeni instead?).
Well, that lets me out of making a fool of myself - ok I was going to say camping in Chamonix! I did look at your blog archive but it only goes back to 2007.
That's not a bad guess Conrad, but Gayle has the edge on you as she has clearly discovered that my trip reports significantly pre-date 'Postcard from Timperley'.
I expect you'll easily recognise my next offering...
I was impressed with your research as the obvious link - from topwalks.com's archive page - isn't there because the report on that trip remains unfinished. But it is there, covering the date in question, and it seems you found it without much difficulty.

Ha! Found the dates! It's Manaslu.
Brilliant!

It's because I stalk your movements (insert evil laugh here) that I'm well aware of the contents of Topwalks.com ;-)
Luckily my movements aren't too controversial!

Well done!
