Saturday 25 March 2023 - Cannon Hill parkrun

On our way home on Saturday, Sue and I called in at Cannon Hill parkrun, just a few metres away from Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham.

This is a popular parkrun, with 563 finishers today (exactly the same as they had last week!) on event number 560. We tracked down Peter Travis, who we'd met before at the Pwllheli parkrun last September.

I picked up another calf strain, despite just jogging slowly, but Sue was Quick. Full results are here. The first man home (not pictured below) was two and a half minutes ahead of everyone else!

Sunday - back at home I marshaled for the Wythenshawe Community Run. Here's the view from my 'Altrincham Road - in' position.

The two leaders were dicing it out and finished up joint equal first home.
