Thanks you two. If you'd tried earlier you'd have found me swallowed by a Googlebug, but I'm resurfacing now having spent some time backing up all the text, if not the comments.
It's got me thinking again of producing an edited hard copy for posterity. Or not. ...perhaps if I'd destroyed, rather than just twisted, my knee at the weekend - the breeze was just a bit too much for my 65 kilos up your way on Saturday, Gibson!
