Saturday afternoon on Fraochaidh (879 metres)
Another fantastic day in the hills, with superb views down Loch Linnhe. Here, Sue, Alastair and Graeme pose on the warm, sunny summit, with the Glencoe peaks behind, and extensive vistas in all directions.

A fantastic day - superb walk, perfect weather and great company. I know I won't forget this one! Graeme
Gibson - my ears weren't burning, but I wonder whether others in our party actually heard your conversation - they were on the Beinn na Caillich ridge on Saturday, and I was also sharing my memories of that lovely day in May. You chose a cracking day....
We did meet 3 people (2 girls and a bloke.) My MTP joint injury in my left foot was giving me considerable grief so we were pushing on quite fast while it was still just bearable and didn't stop to chat. Thinking about it later, I reckoned that I must have appeared rather grumpy! I hate folk like that on the hill, so apologies to them if they were your friends.
It was a superb day but unfortunately we went no further than Beinn na Caillich because of the injury. We did the traverse in 1990 so weren't too disappointed but needless to say, the pain vanished on the way down!!
It may have been them, Gibson, there were 20 of us in total spread out from the Grey Corries to B na C ('bagging' agendas always seem a bit different, but nobody spent the day on their own). But by the time they emerged from the pub in Kinlochleven any thoughts of grumpy people met on the hill had long dispersed!

Were your ears burning Martin? We were on little Beinn na Caillich chatting about your crossing here in May!
