Friday 3 February 2012 – British Mountains
We passed over here yesterday. A fine view. But where is it?
Anyway, it looks like a fantastic weekend for strapping on the crampons, grabbing the ice axes, and having fun.
Looks like Snowdonia to me. The lake in the foreground is Llyn Cowlyd. You can see the Nantle Ridge at the back and the small hills on the Lleyn Peninsula covered in snow at the very back. I love these games! Am I right? :-)
I think you are right, Jamie. The trouble was there wasn't much of a view until we spotted this one. Sue thought it was the Lake District. The distinguishing feature for me was Tryfan, though as we don't often view Snowdonia from this angle,I just wasn't sure. Well done, you confirm my own thoughts! Louise, you are also therefore correct; take a bow!

Somewhere lumpy, south of the border? My geography was never up to much :-) Have a great time, looking forward to reading all about it!
