This was an idyllic spot SE of Fealar Lodge at NO018789, at around 580 metres.
Sue and I had enjoyed a fine day, and had climbed our 11th Munro (and 14th summit) of the trip - Carn a'Chlamain, before descending to Glen Tilt and then making our way here.
After 23 km and over 1000 metres of ascent, including some pretty rough terrain - a nine and a half hour day - we must have been pretty tired, but we had enough energy to don our crocs and wade across a river to reach this tempting looking sward of grass. It did not flatter to deceive...
