After 25 km and plenty of ascent on fairly rough ground over the Corbett summits of Beinn Mholach and Beinn a'Chuallaich, and the Graham of Creag a Mhadaidh, I found myself at this delightful spot above Loch Rannoch, with a fine view towards the distinctive profile of Schiehallion.
The ground was flat and comfy. I woke to a cloud inversion, from which Schiehallion slowly emerged as I took the tent down from this spot at NN688593, on what was to be more or less a rest day, with just a short walk to the Loch Tummel Inn.
