From Tarfside I headed up Mount Battock and enjoyed a brew stop with Maggie Hems on the summit. From there it was an easy walk on a short day to this comfortable spot by the Burn of Badymicks, at NO 588 834. There are lots of good camping opportunities around here. I chatted with several other Challengers as they passed by on their way to Charr Bothy, a little further along the track.
After a fairly early dinner, I settled down to a long and peaceful sleep, as on most of these 'Wild Camping' nights.
'Leave no trace.' The flattened grass on my camping spot next morning will have recovered in an hour or two.
